Due to the spring high water and heavy current; shoaling has occurred in the Appleton Yacht Club harbor. If approaching the club by water for fuel, please wait to turn into the harbor until your boat is even with the first peaked roof on the covered slips (closer to the Memorial Drive bridge slips). Then stay close to the covered slips to reach the fuel dock and pump. We are looking at ways to dredge the harbor, but this is going to take some time and as water levels drop in the coming weeks the issue could get worse. In addition, please be careful of debris in the water from this spring’s record flooding. We are also working on getting the buoys back into position as several have drifted offs tation.
